Terms and Conditions

Below you will find an overview of our General Terms and Conditions, and we ask you to review them before your reservation and stay at our B&B. If you book a stay at Chambres d’hôtes “Auberg’Inn”, you, as the renter, agree to these General Terms and Conditions.

1 General

1.1 The General Terms and Conditions are intended exclusively for booking a stay at Chambres d’hôtes “Auberg’Inn”. The owner undertakes to ensure a good welcome for the guests and to provide the necessary information about the region to make their stay as pleasant as possible.

1.2 Guests must have a permanent residence or domicile.

1.3 Duration of the stay: The renter who reserves a stay for a fixed period as described in the reservation document and on the invoice may under no circumstances claim any right to remain at Chambres d’hôtes “Auberg’Inn” at the end of the stay.

1.4 Arrival: The tenant must arrive on the day and at the time stated on the reservation document. In the event of early or late arrival, the tenant must inform the owner. Check-in is possible from 17:00 to 21:00, and check-out is possible from 08:00 to 10:00. This may be deviated from in consultation. For arrival after 22:00 but before 00:00, a fee of 10 euros will be charged. It is no longer possible to check in after 00:00. No refund will be given for early departure.

1.5 Capacity: The current agreement has been drawn up for a specific number of persons. If the number of guests exceeds this number and no extra sleeping accommodation can be provided or agreement reached regarding the costs thereof, the owner has the right to refuse the extra guests. This refusal can under no circumstances be considered a modification or termination of the contract at the owner's initiative, so that in the event of a departure of a larger number of guests than the refused guests, no refund can be considered.

1.6 Children: When booking multiple rooms by a party with children, at least one adult must stay per room.

1.7 Animals: In principle, Auberg’Inn does not accept animals. Exceptions may be made in specific cases, provided that prior agreement has been reached and subject to conditions agreed in advance by the tenants and the owner.

1.8 Smoking: It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside the buildings of Aubergh’Inn. Smoking is also not permitted at the swimming pool. On the premises, it is possible to smoke at the designated location. Smoking is permitted on the outdoor terraces, but due to the risk of fire, the provided ashtrays filled with water must be used, and we ask that you do not throw cigarette butts on the ground.

1.9 Use of the spaces: Guests are required to respect the spaces and use them in accordance with their intended purpose. They undertake to return the rooms in good condition.

1.10 Guests may park one car per room in our private parking area. If there are multiple cars at one room or a car with a trailer, it may be parked on the street. Parking is always at your own risk.

2 Rates

2.1 The indicated rates are per room, per night, and include breakfast for 1 to 4 persons.

2.2 The indicated rates include the use of water, electricity, air conditioning, and bath & bed linen. We request that you be environmentally conscious and therefore do not run water unnecessarily or leave the air conditioning on during your absence. Please also do not exceed the indicated air conditioning temperatures.

2.3 The indicated rates include the tourist tax. This tourist tax is a local tax that the customer must pay to the owner, who subsequently remits it to the relevant tax authority. 2.4 The rates shown are exclusive of electricity consumption for charging your vehicle, table d’hôtes, and other services offered by Chambres d’hôtes Rêves du Verdhon.

2.5 The rates shown are exclusive of the costs of cancellation and travel insurance. We advise you to take out cancellation and travel insurance.

2.6 The rates shown are subject to price changes.

3 Reservation and payment

3.1 The reservation request is made via our own or an external booking site, by telephone, by email, or in person.

3.2 The reservation becomes effective as soon as the renter has paid a deposit of at least 30% of the total price of the stay, or has registered the credit card details as a guarantee in case of a no-show. If the reservation is made within one month prior to arrival, the full amount must be paid to make the reservation effective.

3.3 Upon receipt of the indicated amount, the renter will receive a confirmation of the final reservation.

3.4 The remaining balance of the total price of the stay must be paid no later than 4 days before the arrival date, unless otherwise agreed with the owner. If the tenant has not paid the balance by the agreed date and no additional arrangements have been made regarding payment, he/she will be deemed to have cancelled his/her stay. From that moment on, the rented rooms will be released and offered for rent again. In that case, the tenant cannot claim a refund of the deposit.

3.5 The rent agreed upon between the parties may under no circumstances, not even partially, be used by third parties, whether natural or legal persons, unless the owner has given written permission for this. Any breach of this clause may lead to the immediate termination of the rental agreement to the detriment of the tenant, in which case the proceeds of the rental agreement will remain permanently with the owner.

3.6 Other costs must be paid in cash, by cheque, by bank transfer with proof of payment, or via Wero before departure.

4 Force Majeure

In the event of force majeure, whether of a permanent or temporary nature, Chambres d’hôtes “Auberg’Inn” is entitled to dissolve the agreement in whole or in part or to temporarily suspend it, without the tenant being entitled to claim performance and/or compensation. Force majeure includes, but is not limited to: the threat of war, war, insurrection, strikes, boycotts, disruptions in the energy supply, traffic or transport disruptions, government measures, scarcity of raw materials, natural disasters, and furthermore all circumstances, extraordinary weather conditions, the death of one of the owners or close relatives, etc., under which full or partial performance of the agreement cannot reasonably and fairly be demanded from Chambres d’hôtes “Auberg’Inn”. Naturally, we will do everything we can to find alternative accommodation for you. If you do not wish to make use of this, the costs paid will be credited to you immediately.

5 Damage and Liability

5.1 The tenant is liable for damage caused by him. He is requested to take out holiday insurance or liability insurance to cover these various risks.

5.2 The use of the swimming pool, the trampoline, and other facilities on the premises is at your own risk. Chambres d’hôtes “Auberg’Inn” cannot be held liable for bodily injury or damage to personal property resulting from the use thereof.

5.3 Parents and/or guardians of young children must supervise the children within the property boundaries, particularly when using the swimming pool, trampoline, and other facilities on the premises. The owner cannot be held responsible for an accident involving a child who is unsupervised on the grounds of the chambre d’hôtes.

5.4 Any pets belonging to tenants may not be left unattended on the premises. If a pet has caused damage to the property or caused accidents on the premises, the owner of the animal will be held liable for this.

5.5 Any damage must be reported immediately to the owners by the guest. Repair and/or replacement costs must be reimbursed by the guest.

5.6 In the event of lost keys, all resulting costs will be charged to the guest.

5.7 The owners of Chambres d’hôtes “Auberg’Inn” are not liable for disruptions in and around the accommodation, such as power and water outages, or construction and/or road works in the vicinity of the accommodation.

5.8 Chambres d’hôtes “Auberg’Inn” can only be held liable for damage caused by the fault or negligence of the owners, whereby the liability of the accommodation is limited to the maximum amount that the insurer of Chambres d’hôtes “Auberg’Inn” will pay out in the event concerned.

5.9 The owners of Chambres d’hôtes "Auberg’Inn" may, in the event of a violation of the general terms and conditions and/or the house rules or in the event of inappropriate behavior, deny and/or refuse guests access to the accommodation with immediate effect, without further notice or statement of reasons and without refund of accommodation costs.

5.10 Chambres d’hôtes “Auberg’Inn” reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions. You accept and acknowledge as binding the terms and conditions, which are in force at the time you use the website and facilities of Chambres d’hôtes “Auberg’Inn”.

5.11 Dispute: In the event of a dispute that cannot be settled amicably, only the court of first instance or the local court of the place of rental shall have jurisdiction.
